#1 Consumer Comment

Very poor and amature engine builders

AUTHOR: BMoss - (United States of America)

Had a nightmare experience with Dyno-Flo 5 years ago and can attest to their poor service and quality and to the owners arrogance and poor communication skills. I have now posted a detailed account.

#2 REBUTTAL Owner of company

another anonymous Mike is his name

AUTHOR: Dyno-Flo - (United States of America)

This fellow, I spoke to this week. Ordered a basic shortblock we list. We shipped it to him just as ordered, but his story changed after he received it.  He said that he spoke to Travis who assured him that it would have the extra keyway in it for his blower, which is not so. He said he spoke to Eagle who manufactured the crank and they told him that is has them, which when I called Eagle to verify his story, no one has any recollection of his conversation he said he had.  We did not bill him for the extra labor to key the crank, and he did not get it.  So, I was on the phone with him and unable to verify at that time any of his story, so I told him that if he would like me to key the crank for him, I would do it and not charge him for it, just to make him happy.  You know, this is really funny the way he posted this, because he said he didn't know anything about how to take it apart to remove the crankshaft and that he is not a machine shop etc...  He seemed to think that because he comes up with this story that I am going to pick up the shortblock at his place and bring it all the way back then do the work for free and then send it back to him and not bill him anything.  The shipping alone on that deal is 575.00 The labor is 250.00, the keying of the crank is 100.00.  Now the whole time the person is acting like an indignant p***k, and I told him to stick to the subject because he was pissing me off by acting like he was acting. He continued, and I told him over and over. Did I ever tell him to f**k off? Never, that is another cute add on to your story.  What I did tell him was that I would add on the key to his crank at no charge if he sent it back to me, I would perform the work and send it back to him and I would even pay the shipping back to him. He kept rolling on the floor acting like a baby and I told him " cool, box it all up nice and pretty and send it back.  I will give you a full refund of your purchase price and the shipping that was paid to ship it out to you.  He kept telling me that I should fix it and eat everything, nope, not gonna happen.  Either ship it back or send the crank, but you didn't order the extra work , you didn't pay for it, and I didn't short him on it. and I am not going to entertain someone who wants to act like that. " I can't believe you are talking to me like this"  Why?  When you act like a baby you are going to get treated like it.  He kept telling me about how he was puting it together and yet then he says that he doesn't know how to pull the crank out, then he posts this up here and calls himself "mechanic"  Now which story should I believe? So far you told me stories, then you posted this, " just ot to rip people off" Ok, then why did I offer to take it back and give you a full refund? OR Why did I offer to do the additional work for free and send the crank back to him and pay the shipping back to him, just to please him????  This doesn't go in line with his claims.  I just looked up his info:  Mark employed at Sheriff Auto 419-322-*** in Toledo Ohio. Funny, Travis sold you the shortblock and then gave you half price shipping also, and you are a mechanic...I think.  So this crap you spooled off to me about pulling the crank out was b.s. also???  let's email him to find out shall we?? I never threatened you, there is no need to. If you say that you are coming to get me, then I will, but you didn't.  So Mikee, boy,  Do you remember any of this, you also  told me that you were recording the conversation, so you should be able to go back and listen to the real conversation.  I guess, the thing to do with you first was to hang up. For all the conversation we had, you sure didn't put any of it down as accurate, now my question would be; now after this, do you think that I am doing some extra stuff for free for you?????  Yeah, I didn't think so. You have burned that bridge.  I am Scot Slotten, you called me and my company out by name, you told lies and invented items, then hid behind your anonymous little deal.  Well, The listing for this product is up on Ebay and has been the same listing for about 3 years. it hasn't changed.  We ship the same recipe over and over. I didn't do anything to you, but tell you not to behave like you were behaving, I told you that all the little $hit you were throwing around to try to make yourself sound like you were bright and that we were $hit, needed to stop. I told you that I would help you, even after your lies, and you still couldn't get it. So, I finally said, either send the crank in with a note and I will do that, or send the shortblock back and I will refund that, I don't care to argue about it. I will do it either way.  He started yelling about how it would cost him money.  So,  if you want me to do something for free, you at least have to be willing to pay to ship it to me.  Guess we are all done now.  If you haven't mollested what we shipped you, then you can return it for a refund of your purchase price 3299.00.  I won't do any of the free stuff I previously offered to perform for you.  Have a nice day!
