On East Cape Smokehouse website it clearly states "for the freezing service, we currently charge $1.25 per pound based upon the cleaned fillet weight...." and that is Los Barriles pricing. In Cabo it is more. Upon arriving to pick up our fish, we were charged $2 per pound and when askign why $2, the guy says "so sorry Senor, its $2"..... and with the language barrier, what else can you do?
Further, we sent in over 10 Dorado, some good size, some smaller, and only received 6 pounds of Dorado. HUM? We know they skimmed some off of us. Their restaurant serves Dorado! Grand re opening this past weekend.
Gringos beware. Problem is, where else can you go? Nowhere if fishing in that area.
