Eastern Savings Bank SCAM Hunt Valley, Maryland

This Bank is a predatory lender.  They charge in access of 12% APR which is illegal in the state of Massachusetts.  When I fell on hard times after paying their ridiculous rates for 10 years I asked them to modify my 12% mortgage. They put me in four forbearance and refused to modify my loan.  I requested several times with a lawyer that they help mediate my issues, always getting the same response, "NO." I tried to find out what I could do about this legally and was told because they did not take federal funding, they were not bound to federal rules and regulations.  I tried to sell the house before the auction and actually received an offer for  53,000 more than was owed on the original loan and the bank denied it.  They are scam artists and predatory lenders who take advantage of Americans in need.  They deserve to have a federal investigation or a class action law suit
