Easterns Auto Group DO NOT USE EASTERN'S TO PURCHASE YOUR VEHICLE Fredericksburg Virginia

If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from Eastern's Automotive Group, please reconsider. My husband and I went to Eastern's to inquire about purchasing a vehicle because our credit has suffered due to divorce. I called their 800# and spoke with Jean who took my contact information and assured me that they could approve us for the terms we were asking for. We made it clear to him that we could not put any money down and that our payments needed to be no more than $350-$380 per month.

After his assurance, we went in to the dealership and spoke with Bobby. He took our application and told us that we would not need a down payment and the monthly payment we were looking for was realistic. We need a minivan because we have four children (they were with us in the dealership).

After running our information through their system, we were told that we were approved for a new minivan at their Leesburg, VA dealership. The cash incentives that they were offering would be used as our downpayment and our payment would be in the $380 range. We scheduled an appointment to drive to Leesburg, an hour away, on Monday (today). I called the dealership to ensure everything was as it was on Saturday and I was asked to call back. I called back and was told that Bobby would call me back in 10 minutes.

An hour later, I still had not received a phone call back. I called and spoke with the finance manager, Allan, who proceeded to inform me that our approval was conditional and we needed $2,000 down and our payment would be $420 for a Hyundai Sonata (which is NOT a minivan... and does not seat a family of 6)

So, here is the bottom line - Easterns Automotive Group does not know the meaning of integrity. They will tell you what you want to hear, waste your time and do everything in their power to take advantage of you, REGARDLESS OF YOUR CREDIT SITUATION. They falsely advertise that they can put ANYONE into a vehicle, regardless of credit. You will get to the table to sign your paperwork for your "new" vehicle and the terms will not be what they promised. Do not let them take advatage of you just because you have poor credit. Someone needs to sue this company for false advertisement and misleading information as well as failure to comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. And obviously, from the hundreds of other complaints about this dealership, I am not the only one who has run into this situation with Easterns.
