EB Games aka Electronic Boutique is taking advantage of consumers. They are only selling the hard to get Nintendo DS system to customers who are forced to buy two games and a warranty. In other words they will only sell the system to people who will buy 2 additional games and a warranty!

Do you actually have proof that Gamestops are doing this? Because it certainly sounds like you're just angry that your local Gamestop doesnt have the product you're looking for so you're saying they're trying to scam people.

At the store I work at we only get anywhere between 5-8 DS' at any given time(last week we only received 3) so supplies are very limited indeed. At my store we dont pick and choose customers to sell them to. We sell one to anybody that asks and while we do push people to buy a game for the system, my store specifically RARELY asks people about getting the one year extended warranty on the DS as Nintendo comes with one year standard. So I cant picture a Gamestop only selling them to people who buy 2 games and the warranty.

Could it be that the store you were at only had the bundles in stock? There used to be two DS bundles. One was a Zelda bundle that came with the Zelda game, the system, the charger and a one year standard warranty through Nintendo and the other was the Nintendogs bundle which came with a Nintendogs game, the system, the charger, and the one year warranty standard throuugh Nintendo. Maybe the people you saw purchasing their DS' were purchasing those bundles and you had just misinterpreted the whole ordeal?
