I bought a horse from Dana Stumbo.  She claimed the horse was 6 years old and stood 16.1 hands tall.  The horse is 13 years old (14 now - this occurred last year) and stands 15.2 hands tall.  Dana falsified the coggins report.

Anyone is more than welcome to come to my house and view the horse for themselves. Her age and height speak for themselves. I have no reason to lie about this and please note who is doing the name calling.

#1 REBUTTAL Individual responds

response to NUT CASE WENDY WILLIAMS

AUTHOR: Dana Stumbo - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, March 24, 2012

I was recently told by an acquaintance that my name was on this website with accusations of fraud and lying. I am here to set the story straight not because I have to ....and sell horses for a living, simply because my name is on the internet being slandered with falsehoods. I responded to an ad on www.draftsforsale.com from someone looking for a spotted gaited draft horse. I live in Ky and Wendy Williams lived in TX but I still emailed her. We corresponded back and forth probably 30-50 times over the course of a few weeks. Wendy bought the horse and wanted a vet exam done to make sure the mare "Fancy" was breeding sound which she paid for and I had no problem with. She wanted to breed her to a Jack in Ky. I agreed to drop her off at the breeder on my way to a family gathering in TN, which she paid me to do. She had a 30 day "in-state" health cert and a current coggins done at the time of the vet exam. I kept in contact with Wendy about when she was coming to get Fancy and even had another horse practically given to her that ended up not working out because the owner decided to keep the Mule. A little background on the mare "Fancy" that Wendy bought......She IS a now 7-8 yr old 16.1 H buckskin and white gaited Tennessee Walker/(Percheron Cross. I owned her mother, a 17.1H  Registered Black (Homozygous for black gene) Percheron mare, and had her bred to a 16.1 H cremello/perlino spotted TWH so I know exactly how old the horse is because I helped deliver the mare from the moment she was born. Her MOTHER wasn't even 13 when she was bred so there is no possible way Fancy is 13. Wendy wanted to have Fancy registered in some sort of Gaited draft horse registry so I emailed her a copy of the dams papers and even mailed her a hair sample of the dam to have a DNA profile done to hurry the process along. After she picks Fancy up she emails me and tells me she likes her but she's not as tall as I told her she was.  I'm not sure how they measure horses in TX but she IS 16.1 hands. Then tells me she has had another vet exam done and he said she is 13yrs old. NOT A CHANCE IN HELL THAT IS POSSIBLE. A few weeks go by, I have a few choice words for Wendy in them mean time, when I get a letter (CC to every Agricultural agency from KY to TX) accusing me and my vet of falsifying a legal document (coggins and health cert) the Attorney General and USDA came to my house for the investigation and I gave them all the information they needed to CLEARLY DISMISS any claims of wrongdoing. My vet was even questioned and cleared. The investigator even remembered Wendy doing something similar to someone else less than a year before. She even gave thoughts to reporting Wendy Williams to all the states between KY and TX for transporting Fancy to TX without having a fresh health certicate drawn up that was for out of state  transport purposes. SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOO....Wendy there you go. You made yourself look like an a*s by reporting all these piles of garbage to everyone and made yourself look bad. My phone number is still 859-983-4200 if anyone has anything to ask or say//////Thanks Dana Stumbo Stamping Ground KY
