I worked at Ecolo Odor Control for 8 weeks as a cleaner and reported to the head of cleaning. When cleaning a trash chute we always skip the upper third of the building and then usually clean every other floor. We shine the doors on all floors to make it look like we cleaned every floor. In some instances we did clean the entire chute, but i can count those instances on one hand. A good example is the shops at merrick who have 4 chutes and 4 trash rooms...we cleaned 2 chutes and zero trash rooms. So the cleaning service is poor.

At the same time as providing poor service, i heard about co-workers urinating in customer stairwells and often whitnessed an employee spit chewing tobacco on customer walls about 6 inches above the floor,.. it ran down the wall (nasty). 

If you are thinking of using ecolo services for your building, reccomend visiting any 'hud' building in miami-dade prior to signing anything and take a look at their trash chute or trash room. Ecolo provides cleaning services to all miami-dade huds (us dept of housing & urban development) in miami-dade.

Lastly, my first pay check was short $50 (no big deal). My last pay check was short $60,.. a  contributor in deciding to write this post.
