I found Ed on the internet doing a search for roofing customer leads and found his website. I talked to him a couple of times before I sent him a check for $432 for 14 hours of cold calling in two hour blocks each day.

Ed told me he personally will handle the calling for me after he received my check. (He does not accept credit cards - bad sign) He told me I should conservatively expect about 3 leads and 1 appointment for each day of calling. I thought that would be great as I could probably get at least 2 or 3 customers out of my $432.

He began sending 3 leads over the 1st day. I called these "leads", but 2 of them were disconnected numbers and the other had no idea what I was talking about. The next few days were more of the same, fabricated leads that were disconnected phone numbers, made up addresses and people who were not interested or had no need for my service.
Long story short, He gave me 3 bogus appointments and about 20 fabricated leads.

I called Ed several times letting him know the leads were bad and gave him the benefit of the doubt, but he stopped returning my calls or emails and never explained anything. I left about 6 or 7 voicemail messages which were never returned and he hasn't responded to any emails.

He has a physical address and a phone number, but don't do it! He runs a scam!
