I answered a craigslist ad about a "Google investment club" investing in Google options. I met a Mr. Edward Pharos at a Diner in the Merril Lynch building in Battery Park Manhattan. He is a black american and wore a Georgetown University sweatshirt. He said he was a NYU Law student. He showed me a Merril Lynch balance sheet and the names of the fellow investors. I handed him $5,000 in cash and he gave me a receipt with his signature on it.
If this happens to you or if you are approached by anyone named "Edward Pharos" stay away!!
I have already filed a complaint with the SEC and I will also be hiring a private detective to catch this fool.
If anyone has come across this person please contact me asap.
