I purchased a vehicle through a car lot named EezyCredit Auto Sales based out of Clifton Park, NY finding out they are scam artists. First 1 Financial works together with this car lot and scam innocent people. When you try to contact them (First 1) they are unprofessional, cut you off, and even argue with you. They love calling and saying I am behind when in fact I always pay double ahead of time. They try to over charge my bank account and think I dont keep track. I get a message to my blackberry every time they try to access my account. They allowed the car lot (EezyCredit) to finance me a vehicle that wasn't even re-possessed yet ( so not legal to sell yet) and not even 3 months of having the vehicle the engine died. You might wonder what First 1 Finacial has to do with the engine, well apparently the previous customer turned it back over because it had tons of problems, and First 1 Financial was notified by me about this and wondering why they would be conducting business with a business who continues getting loans financed left and right to make a quick buck on crappy vehicles! EezyCredit won't help me and expect me to pay for the uneccesary outrageous repairs! Well they are sadly mistaken, because I shouldn't have to pay for an engine after only having it 3 months!!

I should be entitled to get my money back and return the vehicle, all First 1 Financial says is it is not their problem! Well it is, because I was sent to them by the car lot and now owe First 1 Financial money for a vehicle that don't even run! So it is indeed their problem. The way they speak to me is ridiculously rude and I want justice! I want both companies to do what's right! I have six other customers who were also scammed by EezyCredit LLC Clifton Park, NY.

Inexperienced mechanic

Hi, I completely understand where you are coming from and think that further media should get involved. About 3 weeks ago I had the bright idea of trading in my older car for something a little newer and better gas mileage. I stumbled upon eezycredit and thought it would be worth a shot. So, I traded my car in and picked out a vehicle . It took over a week for them to get the vehicle ready and I had to constantly call to get some kind of progress report. They never called me. During this process I stopped by the dealership on a couple occasions to see how things were going and to sign paperwork. Which by the way, I got financed thru westlake bank and they have been wonderful.

Anyway, while there I noticed the mechanic who reminded me of those cave men on the geico commercials. I witnessed first hand his inability to diagnose auto issues and I chimed in to correctly educate him. I have divine knowledge of cars if you are wondering. I, as a consumer, am helping the mechanic?? Really?? That should have been a dead give away for me to run. So I picked up my new car a couple days later and proudly left the lot. Well the proud feeling soon diminished. The muffler rattled real bad so I brought it back the next morning. The mechanic brought the car into the on sight garage and I sat around for about three hours. The mechanic brought out the vehicle and said I was all set. So off I went. While driving , I noticed the rattle had disappeared but the tone was louder.

Luckily, I have a garage and car lift at my work . So I put the new vehicle up on my lift and began too get sick. The whole under carriage of the car was rotted. The exhaust was welded right to the frame of the car. You cannot have this as it puts too much tension on the rest of the exhaust . Which is why it didn't rattle, but was louder cause it was pulling the catalyst away from the manifold . Worst of all, there was a missing balljoint. I could have been killed. How did this thing pass inspection?

 So I nursed the car back to the dealership ( day 2) , and upon driving there the vehicle overheated and the engine light was on. Really? Once again, I sat around for hours and was told I was all set . Off I went. Just before getting home, the vehicle overheated again, and I called and told eezycredit. They told me to bring it back. Nope. I went one step further. I called the bank (westlake). They were very apologetic and informed me that the loan was not fully processed. I told the bank to hold off cause I wanted out of this car. I went back to the dealership the next day (day3), spoke with owner and told him I wanted out and need to pick something else. He didn't like that until I mentioned I spoke with the bank, and then he agreed. So I picked out another car, and once again, another week to wait for delivery .

 Keep in mind, I still have to drive the original car until the second car is complete. I am basically stuck local driving cause I couldn't go any distance with original car. I picked up second vehicle today and everything deems fine. Until I pulled into a store with my son and locked the doors. It seems that eezycredit only had the valet key for this car with no remote. I came out of store, unlocked the doors and off goes the alarm. How do I shut it off with no remote? I called eezycredit and basically was blown off and left to figure it out. Thanks to some really great bystanders , they helped me get under control. Here we ago again and not even a few hours off the lot.what do I do?

The lender does not have anything to do with the condition of the vehicle

You said you should be "entitled" to get your money back from the dealer because there is a problem with the car's engine. You also state that First 1 Financial says its not their problem.
You claim it is their problem because the car dealer sent you to First 1 Financial in the first place.

What does your purchase contract say about the condition of the vehicle? Doesn't it say "AS IS"?  If you had the cash to buy this car when you went to the dealer, then they would have never sent you to any lender at all, they would have just sold you the car for cash. Per your report First 1 Financial is the lender. All the lender does is provide the funds, at an extra high interest rate, to you so you can purchase the vehicle. The lender has NOTHING to do with the condition of the car and does not maintain your car at its expense!  

It IS your responsibility to maintain the car once you buy it (at your expense).
It is your responsiblity to pay for the loan, on time, once you agree to take the money to buy the vehicle.
The loan payment has NOTHING to do with the condition of the vehicle

Your entire problem is this word:  "ENTITLED".  As an adult, one of the first things we learn is that we are entitled to nothing. You agreed to purchase a vehicle using funds from a third party. You signed a purchase contract to maintain the vehicle at your expense. PLUS, you signed a contract agreeing to repay the lender his funds + interest and you provided the vehicle as collateral in your promise to pay. Your remedy is in the contract. Even if you return the car, you are still responsible for repayment of the loan (less whatever proceeds are obtained from the sale of the vehicle after repossession).  

I suggest you fix the car and repay the loan so your credit is not ruined further. (You obviously have a credit problem because of the lender you selected when you chose to buy this car.) If you choose to give back the car, be prepared to pay for the loan anyway. Giving back the car does not make the loan go away. Look to your contract to see what you can do, but I doubt you can do anything other than pay the loan off in full or have it repo'ed.
