El Gordo Loteria Primitiva ripoff Requested banking and personal information to claim a lottery prize of $615,810 Madrid Spain

Received a letter from El Gordo Loteria Primitiva in Madrid Spain, practicaly identical to many which were reported by recipients in the US and abroad, advising that I was a winner, along with others, of a large sum of money. And in order to claim the award I needed to fill out and fax a form which included banking and personal information.; and presumably wait for further instructions When comparing the language in the letters of other recipients it is obvious that this is a scam of great dimension.

My concern is that thousands of these letters may have been sent, and although many have written to Rip-off expressing their outrage, there may be a great many more who will be tempted to respond and place their banking acccounts at risk.

Postal officials, the Justice and State Department and other government agencies should take steps to shut down that illegal operation and bring the perpetrators to justice.
