The owner of Elder Entertainment offered my band a touring deal in the amount of $1,500. We had also given him $1,150 for a lawyer he said that he had and could help us with copyright issues. He said nobody ever gets this good of a deal. We paid him $1,500 over a year ago and nothing ever came of this tour. He could never give any straight answers about it. He had said we could have our money back if things didn't work out. I asked for the money back and he would not give it back. He could not provide any proof pertaining to the lawyer he supposedly paid with the money we gave him to help us with the copyright issues. Instead of starting with a claim in court, I started with the Better Business Bureau. It ended up going to an arbitration hearing. We were asking for everything back which amounted to $2,650. We said we would settle for the $1,500 and Ryan Elder agreed to it as long as there was a nondisclosure agreement. We signed it and he signed it and he was to pay back the $1,500 in (3) payments beginning October 19. He never paid a dime. Since the nondisclosure agreement is no longer valid, everyone needs to know not to trust this guy! Do not give this business or owner, Ryan Elder,any money. He lies and takes your money and does not follow through with his promises. I have recorded phone calls with this guy. I have signed paperwork. I have emails and messages. I have so much proof that he is the biggest scam artist in the San Antonio area.
