Eldred Wheeler Does not stand behind their warranty Hingham Massachusetts

We purchased a table from Eldred Wheeler several years ago. The table was very expensive (as all of their furniture is). The ends of the table have porringer ends. One one end of the table the end has "cupped" (curved upward). I sent the following letter (phone numbers have been removed) and have never gotten a response:

Mr. Trase -

Last May, 2006 I contacted your company regarding a table my husband and I had purchased from your company. My phone call was returned by Gail Rice 617-877-7915. I explained that we had a problem with one end of the table cupping. Gail assured me that the next time you had a "delivery" in my area *** that the table would be picked up, leaving a "loaner" and my table would be repaired. She asked me to e-mail her dimensions, and a picture of the table, which I did.

After 3 months of no contact from Gail I contacted her again. Her excuse was that the company was very busy right then and in the middle of a run but she would call me back by the next day. As expected there was no return phone call. I called Ms. Rice, yet again, in October of 2006 and left several voice mails to which she never returned my call.

Ms. Rice, in my opinion, is incompetent as a customer service representative. Frankly, I am shocked that a company of your quality standards would allow customers to be ignored as she has blatantly done.

I have tried unsuccessfully to get invoke my warranty for a product (one of many) that I have purchased from you. At this juncture I find no other alternative than to go through the Better Business Bureau and further contact an attorney for damages and breach of warranty.
