All and all, this was a pretty negative experience. This company claims to have conducted 5000 electives abroad on their website but I was one of 2 students that they had in country. If you look at their Facebook page, it looks like they have a very limited number of students come in each year. They cut as many corners as possible to save money for themselves. The local staff was nice and accomdating but I feel like I just wasted time and money on their experience. Also the residence was not very secure and transportation did not feel safe especially. I have items missing from my room. There used to be more reviews on GoAbroad from students with similar experiences but they have been erased or removed ? Not sure Please do your homework before commiting to a program with Elective Africa, wish I could get my money back
