Elite Auto Wholesalers Corp. and Alex Burone had me sitting on the side of I-80 in NJ for 3 hours with my 4 year old nephew. After they sold me a "Great running car." Jersey City New Jersey

I drove all the way to Jersey City from upstate NY to look at and possibly pruchase a vehicle from Elite Auto Wholesalers. We got lost, we sat in traffic, and finally we got there. We looked at the car, we ran it, we checked the motor, we asked Alex Burone how it was, he said it was in great mechanical shape and it ran great. So I purchased it.

Well about 30 min down the road, still 3 hours from home and with my 4 year old nephew in the car with me, the car started to overheat. So I pulled off the highway and into the nearest gas station. I let it cool and I put some coolant in the radiator. Then in the reservoir, which is when I noticed there was a huge hole in the reservoir and the coolant was pouring out of it. Well after it cooled off for almost an hour, I got back on the highway headed for home.

Not more than 10 min. later it was getting hot again. So I pulled off to the side of the road, I-80 in NJ. I sat there waiting for it to cool off. When it did I went to start it and the battery was dead. I ended up sitting on the side of I-80 a major highway, with my 4 year old nephew in the back seat, with no heat, for more than 3 hours. I finally had to have the car towed back to NY, which cost me $202.00. When we got it back home, we came to find it didn't even have a thermostat in it.

So the next day I called up the dealership, and Alex Burone told me, "I'm not a mechanic, I'm a salesman. You bought the car as is. There's nothing I can do for you, it's your problem now." So much for him telling me it's in great mechanical shape and it runs great. I am completely dissatisfied with their service. I think they have poor business ethic, they are sneaky and they lie. I will never buy another car from them, obviously, and I would not recommend them, but disrecommend them.
