Elite Law Group, Newport, CA E. Susan Bennett Misrepresented mortgage modification, took $3100 refundable fee, loan mod. not approved, and no refund; elite and susan not reachable; documents never sent to the bank Newport Beach, California

I contracted Elite Law Group, through their representative E. Susan Bennett, and paid a "refundable" $3100 fee for their brokerage service for a loan modification.  All financial documents from A-to-Z were forward to Elite/Susan three times; the process dragged on for months; and despite their assurances, the Mortgage Bank did not approve the loan modification--for a very fundamental reason (the original loan was issued before Jan. 31, 2009, thus disqualifying us from
Obama's salvage program.  To date, the bank informs me that they had not receivable all documents, indicating that Elite/Susan didn't even send them.

Trying to get my $3100 back has been fruitless--no one answers the telephone at Elite, they do not respond to e-mail, one of their e-mails is out of service.  No feedback or response has been made, and not to be redundant, after much time, waste efforts in preparing/sending documents, no refund, and loss of opportunity to pursue the matter with a reputable firm.
