I called elmbrook electronics to repair my 65 hd tv on 8/21/2009. The tech steve came out on 8/24/2009 and wrote and estimate of $775.00 to repair the tv. The contract stated 2 to 5 weeks to repair.Seven weeks later I called what was going on. I was told they repaired the digital, however the high def was not working. Steve called on saturday, 10-10-09. He proceeded to put the tv back together, and it didn't work. He stated he would have to take it back to the shop again, and would call me back on tuesday 10-13-2009. He never called. I called again and talked to him, and stated they were working on it on the bench. He could not tell me if or when the tv would be repaired. I stated I would bite the bullet and pay his estimate of $775.00 and take the tv somewhere else. He will not return the tv. I stated I was going to contact 6 tv and the better business. He stated that if I did that the repairs would only take longer. The company in brookfield has no business address, just a phone # Their phone # is 262-789-7737
By the way like the other rip off report states, this guy smell so bad that we had to spray the house

This is a case of a TV repair where the parts were no longer available and a client that would not give up on his TV.
The client's wife Signed a repair contract and got a copy of it too.
The client, Mr Towers, has an old TV that he insisted on repairing despite a very high estimate and attempts to discourage the repair.
Now we sell TV's too. And we advised Mr . Towers that he should replace his old Hitachi TV.
After several weeks in the shop Mr. Towers called us up and told us he bought a new TV elsewhere and tried to stick us with the old TV. When that did not work, he started this slander campaign which is now in the hands of our attorney.
Thinking we had the problem solved.... We did try to return his TV chassis and it did not function properly. True to our warranty, we took it back, free of charge, to try to correct the problem, which we knew was not an easy thing to solve without parts.
The Facts are:
We do not have any tech named "Steve".
We kept in contact with the client during the repair attempt.
Their was no Spraying of the house. This is pure slander.
So now we are at a stand still. Mr. Towers does not want his TV and we have to return it to him.
So Mr. Towers. Call Elmbrook Electronics Inc 262-789-7737, when you want your TV delivered. Make an appointment. We want it out of our shop ASAP.
We have done all anyone can do. But we can not do magic.
IF you had taken our advice you would of had a new TV with a FREE Five Parts and Labor year warranty, FREE delivery, FREE basic Installation all for $200.00 - $400.00 less than you paid, hauling the TV you bought home. (with a one yr warranty)
Listen to the experts people.

2. Any business is going to have a few bad reports. That does not make it a bad business. This is normal. People will take the time to complain but rarely do they leave positive comments.
3. Nobody can satisfy everyone. How a business handles its difficult customers is a real measure of its character.
4. Dishonest businesses do NOT last for over 38 years, like we have.
5. You can only "ripoff" someone if you took their money and did not give them something for it. Not our fault parts are no longer available. In this case, its a draw. Nobody was ripped off.
