Embrace Visa Credit Card and Fraudlent collections of payment Nationwide

As Sharon reported in her claim, this company called me on my personal phone offering to transfer my balance that I owed from a previous credit card (Fingerhut). They offered to settle the account by paying a certain amount. The Embrace representative said that using their card would help repair my credit.

After I settle the amount that they offered to me, they said that I would be sent a Embrace Visa Card. This card has been very suspious since I received it. After I received the card, I still had to pay more money to cover the balance of the original creditor, which was Fingerhut. After I make payments, I could spend the money, but I was actually spending the money that I paid to them to clear up my account. I stopped paying on the card because it really wasn't making sense to me.

It seemed like I was paying the original payment that was owed on the Fingerhut account, instead of having a settlement. I think that this company may be robbing a lot of people and this needs to stop.
