Emerald Greens/McSha Properties Ripoff, dishonest, fraudulent, Theives Norman Oklahoma

We went to Emerald Greens after a long search for an apartment. Looked around and liked it! Talked to the management about applying and after being asked if we had any evictions on our credit I told her I might due to a previous marriage and my ex not being responsible. We said that my fiancee shouldn't have any on his. So they decided before we filled out the application that they would run our credit.

After doing this they informed me that I did not have any evictions on my creidit but that my fiance owed an apartment complex for damages and explained how he could take care of it so that we could move in. So we filled out the application.

Came to the question of any evictions on your credit and she informed him to make sure he put that he might but didn't say anything about me. I assumed since she had already run my credit and I didn't have an eviction that I didn't need to put anything on there so I marked no.

Come to find out they search four different websites but only looked on one that day and they did find some evictions AFTER he paid his account in full for damages and we paid the apartment complex their deposit.

Now they are trying to claim that we falisfied the application by me not saying I had evictions even though we informed them upfront and it was THEM that told me I didn't. Now we are out all the money we had just saved up for an apartment and my kids are stuck living with their father until we can save up some more.

We called the apartment management that owns this complex and they are refusing to do anything about it.
