Emily And Dale Hardwick Purse Ripoffs Phoenix Arizona

Emily and Dale Hardwick buy fake purses from LA and/or NY for approximately $35.00 and sell them for $90.00 at purse parties, fine. What they don't do is back their product. I had a friend at the party buy me a "Coach" purse and they charged $90.00, which I willingly paid. It was a replica of one of the new Coach purses that had just been released by Coach at Dillards. The clasps on the purse were difficult to twist to open and close the pockets, but I made due.

This particular purse had a flap that was used to close the purse and it also used metal clasps to keep it shut. Two months after I bought the purse, the flaps metal clasp broke. The purse wouldn't stay closed at all without the metal clasp. The metal parts were lost because I don't know exactly where it broke (store, parking lot, etc). I contacted Emily and she said stop by her house so she could look at it. I live in Tucson and she lives in Phoenix.

I went to her house where she commented on how hard the clasps to the pockets were to open and close. She offered me a different purse and I looked through her leftover purses and I didn't like any of them. I told her what I liked and she said that she would talk to her husband who was out of town. I asked when they were going to buy more purses and she said in a couple of months. I didn't like the fact that I had no purse and I was out $90.00 because they didn't provide refunds, but what else could I do?

The next day I talked to her husband on the phone, as per Emily's instructions and he was the rudest man I have ever dealt with, I actually ended up hanging up on him. At some point Emily took the broken purse to some type of repair shop and they said that without the hardware that goes to the purse it couldn't be fixed. Her husband did offer me the broken purse back and $45.00 at one point, but what would that do, nothing. Needless to say this back and forth has gone on now for approximately 6 months.

During a couple of conversations with Emily she told me there was no way I paid $90.00 for that purse and I told her that I did and the hostess of the party had a copy of the check she wrote to pay for the purse for me that she could show Emily. She said that I had to have bought a wallet also for that price and I told her that I didn't. So, now they don't back their products and they lie. She stopped returning my calls and the hostess of the party's phone calls. I did finally get a hold of her again in the last week and she said I didn't pay $90.00 for the purse and she was only going to give me $75.00 for the purse, final.

I am disgusted with her and the entire situation. I accepted the $75.00 to end the agony of the entire situation. I hope no one books a purse party with these people because they will not be happy with their purses and Emily and Dale's lying ways.
