As the saga continued the terrible experience of dealing with the lying people of Empire Exotic Motors only got worse. First, taking the BMW 650 to the local dealer for routine maintenance, I was informed that the 2 front tires were severely damaged and needed to be replaced. The standard reply from Empire Exotic was predictable, "It is a used car". Certainly, but when told that it was in excellent condition and it was far from that and now needing 2 expensive run flat tires with only 9000 miles was another deception from this unethical group. Problems again escalated when they never had in their possession the gear shift as they claimed and when informed of the high replacement cost from BMW, the name calling began; con man, scammer, liar, etc. and they refused to speak with the BMW Parts Department. Additionally the promised $500 for the misstated mileage never arrived as they had pledged. To further exasperate the problems, when I filed for arbitration, as per their required agreement; American Arbitration would not hear the case because Empire Exotic Motors had not honored past arbitration hearings and that they did not pay the fees to American Arbitration Association.  A complaint with the Texas Motor Vehicles Division has now been filed. No doubt, there are many reputable and trust worthy auto dealers, so stay away from Empire Exotic Motors.

Empire Exotic Motors and I have come to mutually agreed terms which has eliminated all the outstanding issues. Sometimes it requires more time and open minded discussion to arrive at a satisfied conclusion. Negotiations is a process that requires arriving at an understanding of both parties prespective which perhaps cannot be accompished immediately. Escalation and worsening of problems could be avoided if these were addressed quickly, honestly and with a sincere attention and desire to rectify all the justified and real concerns that must be recognzed. Empire Exotic Motors, in the end, showed that recognition, accepted responsibilty and demonstrated integrity and desire they have a satisfied customer.
