Empire Movers are racketeers in the guise of movers. They: (i) overcharged us by taking 9 hours for a move that should have taken 3/4 hours; (ii) exploited us by coming up with additional charges over and above their "quoted" rate on the morning of the move when it is impossible to find alternatives; (iii) were negligent by breaking our goods during the course of the move; (iv) were outrageously incompentent by dropping our goods when moving them to the van and by badly packing the goods in the van; (v) were discourteous and imploite throughout.
