Empire Who's Who ripoff Empowering Excecutives And Professionals This Company Calls Hardworking Business Women, and the Scam is Make them Feel Important and try to Get as Much Money from Them as Possible Uniondale New York

This absolutely makes me sick to my stomach. There are never enough businesses out there, trying to steal money from those of us, who just work hard to get by, are there!!! When I received the mailing for this so-called offer. . .I was a bit skeptical, but boy they have some way of making you believe it's a real honor, when they get you on the phone. And it isn't until they believe they've got you right where they want you, before they mention . . .oh yes, there is a charge to be a member, but believe me it's worth it, they say. First of all, they asked me all these questions, about my work experience and about my current career, and while I answer, they sound so impressed.

The women that called, tells me, when she's done with all the questions, she'll let me know if I've been CHOSEN to be in the Empire Who's Who journal. . .as if this is really a bid deal. They tell you it's this big honor. But, of course there is never anything you can get . . . even an honor apparently, without being asked to shell hard-earned money right out of your pocket. That's what happend. But just like the other reports here, you'll read, they give you this ridiculous membership fee of $689 or something like that. And, as my mouth dropped to the ground. . .I said "you've got to be kidding right! So, she says to me . . . well, I do understand it's alot of money, so let me see what I can do.

Then, just like the other stories, they lower the price, more and more until they get your credit card. I paid $181 for nothing! They tell you there's a deadline, where you must get your information back to them, in order to be in the journal. After I received the information packet, and this BIG "Yeah Right" so-called award, I never hear from them again. What about, calling the people who give you money and making sure they return the info to be in the journal. Oh . . .that's right, you don't give a xxxx! This is truly sickening to me! And what's worse,is while looking over the classifieds recently, I see that this company is hiring people to do what this terrible person who called me did...STEAL MY MONEY!!!

That is when I was really upset, and knew this was one big scam. That and the fact, that my mother got the exact same offer in the mail. This horrible person that called me, passed herself off as someone important in the comapny, and said to me "Don't worry, I'm not a sales person. . .I am an Account Executive. And she continued to say, I can understand how you would think that I am just trying to sell you something. I cannot believe they are going to hire more people make these horrible and expensive phone calls. . .to convince more people to join and be involved in a. . .what she called "a great networking opportunity to meet and make connections with other business women just like me". It is truly pitiful.


This company takes advantage of people, by digging right to the core of our self-esteem. I am outraged, and ready for action, if anyone out there is ready to take on this company, and not only stop them from hurting many more innocent people, but to get our hard-earned money back!
