Englewood Carwash Inattentive, Argumentative, disrespectful Englewood New Jersey

Car detailing means attending to detail.  For $179 I expected that my car would be handwashed, and in so doing, my brand new replacement convertible top, still in the process of finding its fit, would be carefully avoided and not subject to the pressure of water, sponges, and towels.   When I came to pick up the car, the crew informed me that the car was passed  through the automated wash before the detailing.  The manager insisted he had told me they do this, but had never said a word about automated wash.   He insisted over and over that he had, that I was wrong, that I was deranged, and to get out of his place.  

The "form-fitting" was upset slightly by the automated wash.  The car was also driven 2 mlies which was completely unnecessary unless they were looking to show it off to the neighborhood.  More likely it was just for a quick thrill - 1997 Porsche Carrera all wheel drive does not adorn driveways much these days.   The automatic  driver's seat suddenly fails to move forward and back, though I'll settle this on unlikely coincidence.

My recollection versus his is one thing, but since we both agree the plan was "to not touch the top", any mention he claims he made of auto wash when I dropped the car off would have been met with "no thanks, I'll go somewhere else".  But full disclosure would have cost him $179.  May we live, learn, and remember half of it!
