TICKETMASTER PURCHASE/ OTHER DEBIT DID NOT AUTHORIZE ENTERTAINMENT REWARDS DEBIT DID NOT AUTHORIZE TROY Michigan

In Jan 2007 I went online to ticketmaster to purchase a pair of tickets, I remember the website saying something about $25 off my next ticketmaster purchase, but i was not interested, this was a one time thing for me, however in Apr 2008 I saw a debit pending, from: "EntertainmentRewards" when i viewed my online banking.

I called my bank right away to dispute the UNAUTHORIZED DEBIT, however they told me that they could not do anything until the debit goes through, then i can dispute the debit, until then i could call the merchant and have then cancel it themselves.

The bank then told me that if i gave "ENTERTAINMENT REWARDS" the "APPROVAL CODE" for the debit that they will issue me a credit and then the bank will remove any insuffiant fund/overdraft fees, after the fact.
I did call "ENTERTAINMENT REWARDS" and i canceled the "SO-CALLED ACCOUNT" they provided me with a cancelation code, which my bank could do nothing with, so it basicly did nothing, it didn't even cancel the debit from going through.

I provided "ENTERTAINMENT REWARDS" the "APPROVAL CODE" for that debit, from my bank, and a few days later "ENTERTAINMENT REWARDS" issued me a credit back to my bank account, then my bank removed the overdraft charge.

To wrap this story up and to make it whole, I just went to purchase tickets and was automaticly signed up for "ENTERTAINMENT REWARDS". they told me that I was sent 3 emails stating that if i did not want the service i had to call and cancel otherwise they were going to go on with the debiting process of the $9.00 per month.

I check my email on a daily basis and I did not see anything from this company, It was easily understood by the bank and myself that it could have easily went to spam/junk mail and that is why i did not receive any emails.

This company is very unprofessional and even after speaking to a manager of the company, i was still not satisfied when he told me that he could not stop the debit from going through and basicly i was going to be charged for a service i did not sign up for. This company should be put out of business and reviewed by the BBB. I have filed a report with them as well, I will never go back to "TICKETMASTER" ever again for any information.
