I was searching job listings on Craiglist and found this company looking to hire salespeople in Austin, Texas. The job sounded pretty good so I decided to check out their website and do some research before sending in a resume.
The website is 'www.entrusthelp.com' and they say on their FAQ that they've been doing loss mitigation for 20 years. They also say check them out on the BBB and state attorney general.
Their website shows no address and no contact other than an 888 number and a 800 fax number.
(these were red flags)
I looked up Entrust USA on the bbb.org and found that they are listed under
The Loan Modification Team in Virginia. They are not members and the BBB just started investigating them in October 2008. There is another website listed on the BBB www.teammodify.com The layout & text is probably 80% the same as www.entrusthelp.com There is contact information and a different toll free number on that website. The owners name is listed as Randolph Martin from Glen Allen, VA.
I then check out Ripoffreport.com for both names and could find no entries. For a company to be in business for 20 years and have thousands of clients and have no record with the BBB or ripoffreport.com is very unbelievable.
Anyone that is thinking of doing business with Entrust USA or The Loan Modification Team would be well advised to do some research BEFORE signing a contract.
The website mentions that there is a moneyback guarantee but the terms of their contract (listed on website) clearly states that payment number 1 ($699) is nonrefundable after the 3-day right of rescission is over.

As I mentioned above, I have not done business with this company and can't vouch for either the effectiveness or the ineffectiveness of their service. This is just a consumer alert to beware.

After doing some research I found another report on Ripoffreport.com referencing this company; the poster had inadvertently misspelled the name as (entusthelp.com).
That report # is: 392240
If you read the posters report you will find that this company is associated with 'The Loan Modification Team' in Glen Allen, VA contrary to the employees commment that was added to my original posting.
It looks like that they set up shop in CA then moved to TX & VA and evidently have changed their website now to reflect only a Hawaii address:
