EPIC DVD MANIA  is a DVD selling company (website www.epicdvdmania.com) that claims to have COMPLETE SERIES of old TV shows.  According to their website these discs are NEW which made me assume they were commercially released and maybe from europe (where many tv shows are released but not yet here in the US). On September 24th, 2010 I made a purchase of the TV show THE NAME OF THE GAME.

Their ad for "THE NAME OF THE GAME" stated:

THE NAME OF THE GAME

Limited Edition DVD Box Set

Every Memorable Episode in One Huge Collection

All 76 Uncut Episodes - 3 Seasons on 23 DVDS

Excellent video and audio quality

100% in chronological order

Commercial free and unedited

This box set contains all 23 DVDs with Custom Artwork.

These are brand new, in stock and ready to ship.

What I got on October 8th was a COUNTERFEIT "home-made" set someone recorded off TV.  TOTALLY MISREPRESENTED IN THE WEBSITE!  This set is widely circulated among video traders and contains only 51 episodes (NOT all 76).  These episodes were recorded off TV, they were edited (as rerun Tv does), not in chonological order and this set WAS NOT COMPLETE! A TOTAL RIP OFF!  A TOTAL SCAM!

I immediately contacted their customer service email from website and called the phone number that was listed on my credit card statement (WHAT A DEAL DVD).  I received a reply from a Kimberly Weis (kimberly.weis2@gmail.com) who replies when you email their customer support.  Her email of October 9th stated I would be refunded and it would be posted to my credit card within 5-7 business days.  That 5-7 business days ended on October 19th and I have received NO REFUND!  I have been emailing and calling them since the 19th and have received NO RESPONSE. I have left detailed messages but they have not returned any of my phone calls made to the number that is on my credit card receipt (WHAT A DEAL DVD 1-647-722-9393).  THEY ARE A SCAM!  Since this happened I have searched several TV show website and have found several clone websites out there - all the same format, description, etc but with different website names... but all sell copyrighted pirated Tv shows, NOT commercially released items from europe.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!  THIS IS A TOTAL RIP OFF!
