Epic Resorts (Las Vegas location) placed a misleading advert in the local Las Vegas Review Journal, stating specifically "NO SALES INVOLVED", I answered this particular ad precisly because I was tired of sales.
When I went to the interview, the man conducting it asked me "How do you feel about sales?" I didn't know what to do at that point, so I went along with it to see if it could be something workable for me.
I worked there for one day, where they had me call local residents claiming that they filled out a form for a comp vacation (these local residents, of course, did nothing of the kind) trying to lure them into a 90 minute video presentation.
We in Las Vegas are hip to this kind of nonsense to the point of cynicism so of course I didn't do very well. Before I will let myself be turned into the typical Las Vegas telemarketer, I decided to ditch the next day and haven't been back. There seems to be an epidemic in this town of these employment classifieds which play too many games with the truth.
