Equistar Financial Group Scammed us on a guaranteed loan Waterbury Connecticut

My wife had been trying to find us a debt consolidation loan and she was contacted by Daniel Price of Equistar Financial Group telling her we have a loan. She asked for the paperwork to be faxed to her office fax and upon reviewing it seemed legitimate. The only thing is that they wanted 4 months pre-paid in advance.

Our son loaned us the money to secure this loan. My wife called Daniel Price to inform him that she had sent the money as per instructions. This was handled via Western Union. She was told that the money would be direct deposited into our checking account at midnight.

When she got up she immediately checked our account and the only money that had been deposited was our paychecks. She called him after she got to work and she was told that the agreement was for 8 months of payments to be sent.

She was sick the rest of the day after she learned we had been scammed. Do not do any business with Equistar Financial Group from Waterbury, CT.
