Carol Visconti is the name the domain is registered to ( under the host ERDOMAIN>COM ) that billed as PANDORA-SOFTWARE.COM AND impersonated AVG disabling my computer with the fake virus alert. Being unfamiliar with these online scams I complied with the request to upgrade and gave debit card approval for $49.95. Since I was already loaded with AVG free I don't have an infection problem so I didn't catch on for a while.

Then I was hit again , this time with something call Winweb . That started me looking into this thing and I am now better informed and further dismayed at the crookedness of internet users. The Winweb problem went away, I suppose coinciding with the closing of pandora-software.com. I don't know what responsibility ERDOMAIN.COM has for hosting these crooks but its plain to me that a free internet cannot survive if its taken over by outlaws.
