Eroticy - Webcapades Eroticy In Bed With Toxic Spammers ripoff Clearwater Florida

On 14 May 2006 I received one of those tiresome PayPal spoof mails, trying to scare me into believing a high priced item was charged to my account, thus prodding me to send my financial data to an unconfirmed recipient. Because I am not a drooling moron, I merely reported this to PayPal's abuse desk and moved on in life.

Except I can't do that just yet, since the offending scam mail reached me via the address I once used for Eroticy, a service I wisely abandoned almost a year ago. As the target address was generated by an email alias service, and used exclusively for Eroticy traffic, and this address was never published, the sole conclusion to draw is that Eroticy has made this address available via sale or trade to fellow thieves.

I could have disabled the address at any time, but chose to ignore it to permit collection of future evidence of E-Rot's scam efforts. Seems I got my wish. Not content to stop at fleecing their user base with a fraudulent business model and abusive practices, Webcapades runs a side business monetizing defunct addresses. I think it's safe to say Webcapades wastes no time on niceties like screening their mail list compiler clients. After all, it's a list full of pigeons who fell for one bogus offer, a tasty treat for outfits who need soft-headed targets to turn a profit.

It may be a sign of desperate times, as word on the street says E-Rot is hemorrhaging from disgruntled members. May it only be so.
