Errol Horowitz Law Office Obtained funds to act in Filing a Immigration petition, failed to File at all and lied continuously for 3 months that he had. Woodland Hills, California

I was referred to Errol Horwitz by friend of the family. He seemed absolutely competent and was extremely efficient at the early stage, explaining what needed to be done the time frame etc etc. I paid him his substantial fees in early November 2010, including a Premium Processing Fee which would give an answer within 15 days of the application being submitted.

When I queried, after the 15 days had lapsed, why we had not received anything, I was told that they could not process my application because of workload and I would be receiving a refund. Seems  reasonable!

From early December to 15 Feb, we then received an on-going stream of assurances that the application was being processed and even a phone call to tell us that it was granted on the 20th January!

After many repeated requests for a filing reference number were either brushed aside with more excuses or simply ignored, I managed to get another Attorney to enquire on the status of my application. Only to learn in shock and horror that he never even filed in the first place. He perpetuated a deception with lies and baseless promises for 3 months. Needless to say the consequences of this on my family are severe :-(

I then found out that he already has California State Bar Court Cases, where he was found guilty of committing exactly the same offense in 2004 (they did not impose any penalties on him whatsoever!!!!) and has another case pending. I will be submitting my case next week.

The nature of his services, I suspect, allows him to prey on hapless people trying to obtain a US Visa, many of whom will find holding him to task very difficult. Please make this widely known.
