Ethereal Muse Studio Encore Game, Rips off employees and artists, Internet

Roderick Lizardo from the company Ethereal Muse Studios who makes the Encore Game contacted me via an online forum because I had specific art skills he needed.  He promised me a large payment, and demanded a ridiculous amount of hours and revisions.  Not only that, but he acted very very abusive when demanding these revisions.

When I delivered his final revision, he said it was great.  Then I asked about payment, and he started behaving very erratically and telling me what bad work I'd done, and how I was hurting his production by demanding money, and how that's not how people in independent game development should act.

The net result was that Roderick Lizardo totally screwed me and several other people on the team out of thousands of promised dollars and took our work.  Apparently during the development of the Encore Game - he's done this over and over and is basically driving the game off of a bunch of fraudulent promises.  It's really very contrary to all the posts about personal inspiration and honesty he makes on his various blogs and internet profiles.

Baseline is, watch out for Roderick Lizardo.  He'll ask you to work you a*s off and then if you dare demand any compensation or recognition, he'll simply screw you over. 

Hope this helps anyone trying to determine if Roderick is someone good to work for.
