E*Trade Watch your cash balance Merrifield Virginia

I have had occasion to chase E*Trade on several occasions due to a mistake in the cash balance of my brokerage account, always with this showing much less cash, usually more than $10,000 than should be there.

Usually it then becomes impossible to contact their customer service department, who are just about the most unhelpful bunch anyway, and emails are never answered with anything other than a standard reply.

Eventually if you shout long and loud enough theY correct balance reappears, without a word of apology or explanation.

I can imagine that customers who don't check their balance almost daily may be getting ripped off and never know this, I would recommend anyone desperate to trade online look for a much more reliable service.
