I'd heard advertisements for Events & Adventures on various radio stations in the area for several months and decided to give it a chance. I noted there was no real information on what the costs were to join so I asked for information and received a call back from a representative who really didn't give me any more information than what was on the website, itself.

After mulling it over, I made an appointment and went through the interview process. The representative who met with me repeated the same things I heard over the phone and asked some generic questions but she didn't seem too interested in my answers. They did do a background check to make sure I didn't have a criminal record which was interesting to witness.

Then they asked for my financial information (if I had debts, how much I make annually etc) which made an eyebrow grow up. Then they quoted a price that was much higher than I expected or could afford at the time.

When I said I wanted to think about it, the rep started hemming and hawing and trying to explain how it would fit in my "budget". When I said I still wanted to think of it, the rep started berating me for not wanting to "invest in the future" and that I "didn't deserve the women in their group" and turned it into how I wasn't "emotionally ready" to make a connection in their group.

I was very much taken aback by how apathetic an unimpressive they were as well as only seeming interested in taking my money. Barely any of my questions were answered, the rep, herself, was very uncaring and apathetic and wanted to cut to the chase. The remarks, however, were, by far, the most unprofessional and anger-inducing as if she thought, by berating me, I would turn around and sign up just to spite her. What company does that? Not a very good one that hopes to get more members.

I am almost certain I will receive more calls asking if I have changed my mind and I will have to choose my words very carefully to tell them I am not interested at all in joining their singles cult. If you want to meet single people, avoid Events & Adventures like the plague. It is not worth the time, effort, anger or headache that this whole debacle caused me.
