I have been contacted by the "company" that goes by all of the names listed in the title. They go by many other names but these are the only ones I could recall. The most recent as of 15 minutes ago was "Axis".

A woman called me and said that she was calling in regards to a resume she had found on Careerbuilder.com. She went right into asking if I was looking or full or part-time work. I told her I was looking for either but stopped her to ask who she was calling on behalf of. She first said "Access" and then went right back into how they had exclusive and limited openings for a Customer Server, Sales, and Management Training Program positions. I asked again what type of industry her company deals with. She went into a spiel about how thy do marketing and advertising for Fortune 500 companies such as Home Depot, Best Buy, Arizona sports teams and many others. I have received literally one call from these people a month at minimum , each time under a different company name. The woman on the phone is always extraordinarily friendly and honestly this time I recognized her voice. It's possible that "Emily" is also "Brittany", "Cassie", "Mandy", "Michelle", and one of the other typical names given. I even received a call 2x in one day by the same person but giving different names.

Here is the kicker...

First off, my wife originally Google'd there phone number. It immediately produces websites for consumer scams and such. All of them operate under the same phone number and address. They claim to always have JUST gotten my application or resume. Yet, when i ask for them to send me a job description to my email, they do not have my email and coincidentally their Internet is down or Email is down. So one would ask how they JUST received an email with my resume which DOES contain my email.

"Emily" was hesitant to give me any information AT ALL regarding the company, positions and even tried to dodge giving me a phone number to reach them with. I talked her into a corner and she was obviously uncomfortable. She then produced a phone number.....the same number from each previous call. Just to verify, I popped in the phone number by itself into Google. It is definitely the same.

So luckily I evaded getting sucked in by needing work badly.

I called the Chandler PD and asked what I should do. They gave me information on how to report frauds, scams, schemes and anything having to do with shady business.

I will add that if you have lost ANY money to these people AT ALL....contact your local Police. I was told by the Chandler PD that the only time they get involved is if money in some way shape or form was lost to the people in question. Otherwise, the information below is where I encourage EVERYONE who has had contact with these folks to call and make a report.

I know we all have busy lives and in todays world it is likely to be especially hard for many but PLEASE take the time to file complaints with your local Attorney General for any type of fraud. They take care of the leg work and your contribution may just be what it takes to keep some other people from becoming a victim. In my eyes if it can prevented and someone has knowledge of something illegal and unethical, any person victimized after you did nothing is on you. Take responsibility and help by filing a report.

-Thanks
