This  "company" is not actually a company at all.  It is simply an office space rented by a larger company called Smartcircle.  They have set up many of this offices in different states all over the U.S. They are run by individuals who have been "promoted" and have given each office a different name in an attempt to disguise the fact that it is indeed Smart Circle.  Most of the offices are run by very young men who have no degree, or even any business experience.  They are salesmen. They all started out marketing and selling services for direct tv inside of retail stores. (They ARE NOT EMPLOYED BY DIRECTV)  They promote the salesmen in which they think would be comfortable screwing others over and working for a company that has absolutely no dignity. They do not work for direct tv, they simply market for them, and then get a cut from the sales they make. (Hint: If you buy service directly from DIRECTV, its cheaper :]) I will admit that there is potential to make money if you work for this company, but the chances are slim that you will go very far.  They have recruiters that head hunt people to work for them.  They hire new employees every day just so that they can fire employees everyday.  Therefore, the chances of being there long enough to make a career out of it is slim.  My advice is to work there for a week, earn a quick 400 bucks and leave. They train the recruiters to make promises of 400 a week pay guaranteed plus commissions, and also train the recruiter that they are not to give out any information on the job or the company, because they know that people will realize immediately that its a scam. The very very worst part of the whole thing is that any applicant  that is over the age of 35 is automatically not considered.  They seek young naive people who may not have enough life experience to grasp whats really going on.  Aside from age discrimination, they also will not consider anyone who has a name that cannot be pronounced aka foreigners.  Pretty much if you are not a young, attractive, Caucasian, your not going to get any further then a second interview, and the only reason you will be invited back for the second interview is so that the salesman can practice interviewing people.  When you are invited in for your first interview, you will hear the same speech that every other applicant hears which is pretty much a sales pitch so that it will appear to be the best opportunity in the world. ( ITS NOT. trust me) What they dont tell you is that while the office is based in monroeville, you will have to drive to the monroeville office everymorning, and then drive to Sams Clubs and Best Buys ALL over the city as far as cranberry. robinson, butler..and then drive back to the monroeville office at the end of the day.  No compensation for gas, and you are not paid for the time you spend driving from store to store. You get paid for an 8 hour day, and end up devoting atleast 60 hours a week to this job.  They say you get 400 a week base play plus 100 dollars per sale.  They leave out the fact that you have to pay back the 400 base pay once you start making sales.. so its near impossible to get a pay check over 400 bucks.  Lastly, the men "in charge" are the most unprofessional people i have ever met in a business environment.  There is Drug use in the office, in the cars on the way to the stores, and frequent trips to the bars.  Adam Robinette is a phony, liar, and uses people.  He is more interested in figuring out which female employee he can score with then doing whats moral and professional.  My advice is DO NOT even waste your time going in for an interview, they will jsut try to sell you a job thats not worth your time.

#3 UPDATE Employee ..inside information

Hilarious

AUTHOR: Adam - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 05, 2024

Awwww... Poor baby Rachel Renda, you wrote this review for attention sweetie. The only people using drugs were you and Stephanie. Whether it be Adderall during the day or our team events when you guys were falling asleep mid sentence during a team night. Yes they don't pay for your gas . It's a write off, and yes it's sales , it's commission that's why you do sales. I don't know how you didn't make 800+ weekly that's only 8 sales. There shouldn't even be a base pay especially when you can't make a sales or your just saying your at the store when your not. Your probably the only loser who ever made the $400. We have people making 4 sales a day, so the fact you couldn't make at least 6-7 to get to 600-700 is pathetic. What I find most interesting about the review you left is it's everything you were guilty of. We have all ages & all races working here. Best man or woman for the job period. Since you left we promoted 7 people into their own offices. And trust me when I tell you the money is unbelievable. I never made 6 figures anywhere but here. We now have offices in Allentown, Bethlehem, Ford city, Youngstown, Altoona, west Virginia & Akron. Good luck burning bridges.

EXECUTIVE MARKETING SOLUTIONS IS GREAT

AUTHOR: ems2012pitt - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, May 11, 2012

This is an absolutely ridiculous report about ems, i worked for this company for 3 1/2 months before i moved, i had a great experience with this company and it helped me land the job i currently have.

Mike Beauregard is the manager of this office, not adam robinette, i dont even know what adam robinette has to do with ems. But me and mike the manager have continued to speak every once in a while, great guy, he taught me a ton of stuff during my short time there.

Who ever wrote this rip off report obviously is just trying to throw a low blow at the company for no reason. They definitely dont disgriminate against age or race cause if that was the case i wouldnt of got the job and i was also drug tested before being hired. ............ so im just writing this to defend Michael Beauregard and Executive Marketing Solutions. Awsome company, wish i was still there.

#1 UPDATE Employee

100% False Accusations

AUTHOR: PghPens - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, April 27, 2012

As a current employee of this company who has worked here for an extended period of time, I can say that this is 100% incorrect and malicious. EMS has 15 employees that currently work here and have for an extended period of time and are completely happy with this national company. I have worked in numerous positions for this company, doing the marketing/sales portion, as well as the administrative portion.

If this company was a "scam," would I, or the 15 others who work here, have stayed here for so long? Or would there be national conferences/meetings and 300 offices across the country? I have visited the office in Atlanta, one of the top offices in the country, and had a great experience. Aside from people who graduated college or people looking for a new career, we currently have a handful of professional athletes working for this company. Let's be honest, I think they would know whether a company is a scam or not.

As the recruiter, we do not discriminate. We are an equal opportunity employer, which means we do not discriminate against one's age, sex, race, religion or origin. We have people working for us of all ages, race, origin, religion, and political views. As far as there being "drug use" in our office, that is impossible considering there are monthly drug tests. We also screen everyone before they are even hired. Therefore, no one with a criminal background is allowed to work here. Our company holds itself to the highest standards.

We both can agree that you can make good money working for EMS. The paycheck is always what it is going to be every week depending on how hard that person works. There is a guaranteed base weekly pay as well as commission and bonuses. It's just like in life, "only the strong survive", so if this job isn't cut out for you, then obviously you won't end up running your own office like we give you the opportunity to do. We do not hire people everyday just to fire them. The only time we would fire someone is if they are irresponsible (aka not showing up to work) or if they do something to affect the company in a negative light. Like I said two sentences up, most people realize that they aren't cut out for this job so then they end up "firing" themselves.

As far as traveling goes, we do meet at the office in Monroeville for classroom training, then we go to different Best Buys and Sam's Clubs around Pittsburgh. However, you are not driving ALL OVER Pittsburgh. The furthest drive lasts about 20 minutes and most of the time we carpool. You are not compensated for the gas because you should be making enough money off of your installs to be able to afford a $30-40 tank of gas.

Lastly, bashing the men who run this company is just making you look bad. Please don't be spiteful that you are currently unemployed, while they are making better money running a successful national company, than you ever will. They are very professional, but at the same time, have a great relationship with their employees. There is no sexual harassment as said in the original statement. If there was, it would be reported, as all of our employees have taken a sexual harassment test after watching a presentation as required by the company.

If anyone has any questions regarding any of this, please call 412-567-6878.
