Dear Credit Terrorist Victim,
It appears, these 'agencies' are held above the law, and justice will not prevail.
I too am a victim of 'disputes on my credit report' and at last standing, I realize, many other terrorist victims suffer disputes to the credit report with amazing speed and destruction. Let us lose faith in the government for failing to correct these agencies and apparent blunders of mass destruction, by casting our votes in the upcoming election. Let us elect leaders who won't make mistakes at the cost of our credit worthiness, and also plunge us into debt? Let us VOTE for thoseto help our credit lives, and intensify credit terrorism, by passing laws against the agencies who put "junk" on our credit reports, by contacting the FBI, or the IRS to hold tougher accountability and verify all reporting information with social security number, and proper identification. I hope we all can take tougher
measures to intensify and protect our credit identification!

I BELIEVE THEY ARE USEFUL IDIOTS!!

I have noticed in the past few years that I am receiving information from these "credit bureaus" about "new information that could be damaging to your credit report". When I request a copy (free) of the account information, it has ALWAYS been from credit card companies whose accounts I have requested to be closed. Three separate credit card companies reported me as having "late payments over 30 days". The one thing in common.. they are credit cards I have requested to be closed. It used to be a consumer wanted to get rid of all credit cards because they had access to monies that could adversely affect the amount of debt the consumer accumulated, therefore making it hard to pay off any additional loans.
Like insurance companies, credit bureaus have the consumers in a black mail situation. I have requested "investigations" on each of these negative reports. Of course, the credit card companies are ALWAYS in the right and my "poor" credit record remains on file.
It's "funny" how one can look at the total picture and it is obvious I am paying my debts in a timely manner. And I do not only pay minimum payments.. and I attempt to pay off in full each month (another trait the credit card companies despise!!)
"They" want the consumers to pay everything via internet and I won't allow them access or information to my banking accounts. I can't prove that, just because I mailed a payment in as soon as I received it, that the credit card company got it before their 10 day deadline, or whatever. The turnaround times keeps getting shorter, the penalties keep getting HIGHER, and interest rates also double if ONE payment is deemed to be late by the credit card company.
The only alternative would be to certify the payment each time. That costs something like $5. BLACKMAIL.

I too have been a "victim" of these groups. I check my credit report once every few months and consistently report disputes. According to the FDCA and FCRA, they have 30 days to investigate and respond promptly. I have since pulled my reports and filed of my monthly dispute on items that I had "no clue" as to who they were. Wouldn't you know, even after they have concluded thier investigations, they are still on my reports!
These companies should be put out of business once and for all and someone who has common sense and half a brain in thier head should come up with a new way of monitoring our credit.
I remember back in high school. I had a job and a personal loan for a car that was never late. I was unable to get a Sears charge card, but my former sister-in-law, who was a sophomore with no job or credit, was able to obtain one. Now if that isnt a crock, then I don't know what is!
