Express Delivery Center Sent me an Email saying that they had a package for me, paid by sender..... Los Angeles California

This so-called company sent me several emails stating that I had a package waiting to be sent to me all I had to do is confirm by clicking a link in this email. I read it thoroughly and noticed something odd my name was spelled correctly and the first part of my address was right but it had me addressed with city and state as residing in CA, And by far I have never lived in CA or even been close to it. So that gave it away. One more thing is that the phone number they had as mine was also from CA. I took the chance and called it and come to someones personal answering machine and when I checked the address of the so-called company it come up as a mail box center (you know where you rent a box so you can have a different mailing address) The look-up I did also gave me the businesses phone # (for the mail service center) I called it and got a non american on the phone and asked him what type of business he ran and he told me rent mailboxes and other things. I asked him if he realized that someone was using his mailbox service illegally to get money from people from an undisclosed email address, He hung up on me and now no-one answers the phone.
