I placed an order with expressautoparts.com on 1-3-2005. I didn't receive a confirmation email, so I emailed a week later asking about my parts. I received an automated response stating that my parts were backordered, and that they'd be shipped within 10 days. A week later I received a notice that I could choose to have my order shipped immediately, and would get 20% off my next order for the trouble. Needless to say, I never received the parts or a refund, and I'm not sure my emails were ever read, judging by the automated replies I received. I finally filed a complaint with my credit card company, and then received an email from expressautoparts stating that due to a problem with my card issuer, I'd be receiving a refund. Today, 10 weeks after the initial order, and 3 weeks after the last email from expressautoparts, I received the promised credit.

Expressautoparts.com is a Worldpac affiliate site. Basically, that means that the owner of the website doesn't ever actually handle the parts, they're inventoried and shipped from one of several Worldpac warehouses throughout the US. I've ordered from other affiliates (there are many, with a wide range of prices on the same parts) in the past, with good results. I tried emailing Worldpac and detailing the problem, with no response. If more victims of the expressautoparts.com ripoff would email Worldpac, maybe they'd make sure expressautoparts.com was shut down.
