I purchased an extended warranty from Us fidelis. The guy told me it was a bumper to bumper warranty. The only thing out of pocket was my $100 deductible. I asked this several times before purchasing it, and was assured.

I had the policy for 7 months. My air conditioner went out and I took it in as i was told to do. Again I asked If i was covered, the man said yes, no worries, and i had a rental car if needed.

The place where i took it for repairs, did the diagnostics and found the problem in a bout 30 minutes. Called US Fidelis to get the ok, wasn't able to talk to anyone. They were on hold 45min. at a time.  They tried 5 times that day to get the ok. Nothing. This was on a  Tuesday morning. Wed. came and went and still couldn't get anyone from the company on the phone. Thursday, finally in late afternoon, talked to someone, got the ok, but of course the part that was needed wasn't covered.  and I had to pay $515 out of pocket. That doesn't sound like a bumper to bumper warranty to me.  I was LIVID!!!  after 4 days and about 60 calls to this ridiculous company,  Friday night i finally got my car back. The manager of the repair shop said he has never dealt with a company like this before. And he felt bad for me.

While the repair shop was trying to call, I called Us fidelis myself and asked them what the deal was. after being transfered from person to person and telling this story over and over. I finally got ahold of Justin and he told me that he listened to the recording at the time i purchased the policy and said , yes that rep did tell me only deductible out of pocket and it was a bumper to bumper policy, but they were going to use that recording as a training tool so this don't happen again. and he was sorry!! Sorry doesn't cut it! I went home and found all my paper work and the "thank you letter" from some guy named Joshua Thompson who is the customer care manager. So I called his number and asked to speak to him. No one has heard of this guy.  By this time I wasn't surprised. This company is a rip-off and they Lie just to get your money. I have an attorney friend that wants to go after them for all the false advertisements that is washed all over T.V. and all the complaints, and there are alot i have seen on the Internet.  I think we will go after these slime balls. BIG RIPP OFF!!!! this place sucks!
