I am currently a happy member of Goodlife Fitness and had no intention of joining a different gym.
I "won" a free month trial membership at Extreme Fitness, so I figured I could try out their facilities/classes for free and then cancel and return to Goodlife.
But to start the trial, I had to sign up for a membership (which I completely regret now), which I was going to cancel anyways.
However when I called to cancel 2 weeks later, I was told I could not and I am locked in for the 1 year.
Richard Haldane froze my account, but didn't cancel.
Repeated attempts to contact Andrew Wolffish (GM) were like pulling teeth.
My credit card has already begun to be charged for services I haven't even had time to use.
This is a simple problem with a simple solution, I just want my membership cancelled.

Hello,
I am not sure if your issue was resolved but I also originally signed up with Richard Haldane and have been dealing with Andrew Wolfish for 5 months now. I had to threaten both legal action and to go to the BBB. I got my money back from them in 3 installments with different excuses for not refunding the total amount all at once. There is hope. Been dealing with these two since August and it was finally resolved (sort of) today.
