This company rents furniture items, baby strollers, cribs, bicycles, etc. to south Florida visitors or long-term stays. The only financial agreement with the company when you are renting an item (in my case, it was baby equipment for my hotel room at Hollywood Beach, FL) is that you pay upon arrival the total amount shown on the Web site or told to you over the phone. This is a phony statement, however, for there is a steep delivery charge per item, and this amount is not told to you prior to solidifying the agreement. There is no mention of this extra charge on their Web site either. You are not told about this high extra charge until it's too late...until you've made the agreement and arrived at your vacation site.

Their total amount charged is also supposed to include setup of the equipment in your place of residence/in your hotel room. I arrive to (1) an extra charge, of which I was told nothing about and (2) an item dumped in the hotel lobby...not set up whatsoever.

I accepted the situation for the time being, paying the hidden charges and setting up the crib by myself, as I had just arrived from a long journey and needed to get my baby to sleep. However, I later contacted the company in hopes they would understand my situation, agree that their additional charges were unfair and reverse the extra charges, and they simply wouldn't work with me whatsoever.

After returning to Atlanta, once my vacation was over, I wrote a letter to the owner of the company. He did call me, however flat out refused to work with me whatsoever and told me I was being unfair to him. I followed up with a letter to the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce and local Better Business Bureau, sending a cc-ed letter to him (Michael is his name), and he didn't contact me again. I find it absolutely unacceptable for a business owner in a customer service role to treat his customers as I was treated. This is the most unprofessional company with the rudest owner! They do not deserve to be in business if they are treating customers in this way.

If you plan to use this company for your rental needs while visiting south Florida, beware. You will no doubt be tricked and will end up paying many hidden costs and not receiving the service you paid for.
