I bought a pool. The woman called this morning and said the pool is on it's way,this was around 8:00.we stayed home all day and no pool came here. I'm very upset that people would lie. We tried calling them no answer all day.

We're very sorry you feel this way about our company. However, I believe you simply misunderstood the intent of the call your received. We do not notify customers when a delivery will arrive at their house. The call you received was a courtesy call from your sales rep notifying you that your order had shipped from the warehouse. Generally, shipping notices are sent only as an email, but oftentimes in the case of large orders, such as swimming pool kits, our sales team goes the extra mile and personally calls the customer to notify them of the tracking number and other details to help with a smooth delivery. This is done so customers understand the process of unloading such a large order from a freight truck and can prepare adequately beforehand. However, the representatives cannot and do not specify an exact delivery date or time, because the time in transit is completely the responsibility of the carrier, FedEx or UPS, and can vary depending on a number of variables including how far you live from our warehouse, how large the order is or even the weather! 

Despite your misunderstanding, I fail to see where you feel you have been "ripped off", implied in your posting a complaint to such an uncivilized forum as this. I assume you have received your order and are likely enjoying your new pool, completely unaware of the damage your words may cause to the reputation of an otherwise good business run by honest people. Nevertheless, we are willing to work with you toward a resolution. 

However, we do not condone the use of deceptive, anonymous forums such as this to air complaints or work through disputes.  While RipoffReport.com sells itself as a platform for consumers to exercise their right to free speech, it also engages in the questionable practice of demanding large fees from businesses and individuals who feel they've been unduly criticized or slandered publicly and who simply wish to resolve a complaint. In short, RippOffReport plays both sides for the fool while they rake in enormous "mediation" charges and advertising income from the content you create for them. Please consider how RippOffReport is taking advantage of your emotions.

Instead, we offer customers a feedback process that allows them to voice concerns via an impartial, third-party meditated feedback system.  Your complaint will be arbitrated on the assumption that you genuinely want to find a resolution.  It does not appear that you have taken advantage of this system.  You should have received an email for this feedback service within 5 days of placing your order.  If you cannot locate that email, please let me know by emailing feedback@familypoolfun.com, and I will ask the feedback company to resend the invitation.

Again, our concern is to make sure you're happy, and we'll do whatever we can to resolve this situation to everyone's satisfaction.
