*Update* 07/20/2009

After filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Ripoff report and the state Attorney General's Office Greg Roberds, the owner of Fastrak Charity Auctions finally agreed to meet with me on 6/26/09 5 weeks after I purchased the car and 3 weeks after the car was supposed to have been finished.

Although the owner refused to acknowledge the fact that I have had to rent a car for the past five weeks he did acknowledge that there was substantially more wrong with the car than had been disclosed at the time of the sale. He stated that ordinarily they would just refund the price of the car but "since he was so far in the hole" he couldn't do that this time.

Needing a car and having spent the savings I had on this one already I agreed to his terms of "credit" at another auction for a different car, however after talking to several other people who have had similar incidents when dealing with this company I decided I would just get the Blazer after all.

I was informed when I called on 7/06/09 that the car was finally ready and that I would have to pay the $500.00 for labor to pick it up. After the parts and rental cars it took me a few days to come up with the money but by Friday 7/10/09 I had it and I went in to pick up the car. I drove it to the DMV that day to register it and did not drive it again until this weekend 7/18/09. The car seemed to idle a little rough when I picked it up but I'm not a mechanic so I figured the timing was a little off. After driving about 40 miles the car died and I had to have it towed where I was informed that the fuel injection system is shot. There are also problems with the linkage which cause the car to pull to the right.

Buying a used car is always a bit of a gamble but I highly recommend that you avoid this company if you are in the market. I have given these people ample opportunities to correct the situation and instead they have treated this situation as business as usual.
