chase made a mistake about 6 months ago and said they didn't charge me enough,i always send $20.00 more than is due.they sent me a bill 4 months later that was 4 times my reg. payment-223.00 so i closed my acct.chase has now added$980.00 in late charges so i refuse to pay these criminals.

will just make things worse. if they made a mistake you should have requesting in writing what the mistake was they made.

They may HAVE made a mistake and were correcting it. They have the right to do so under the contract you signed. The long you ignore this bill, the more interest and late fees they will charge. It won't go away, they will just sue you and garnish your wages for the money. I would contact them now and find out what can be done to fix the situation.
