Financial Accountability Association calling on my job stating that i received a papyday loan and did not repay and that i am being sued for money laundering, check fraud, and theft by conception.i have never received a payday loan, nor do i even know where the bank is that they say the money was deposited. I received several telephone calls while I was at work. They claimed to be attorneys. They said that I had a court date of august 4, 2008 at 11:00am. They stated that I had received a payday loan that I had not repaid and that the company was pressing charges.

They stated that I was being charged with money laundering, check fraud, and theft by conception. They stated that I needed to hire an attorney to represent me and to prove all of this was false. I have no clue what they are talking about.

After the first call, I told them not to call me at my job anymore. They called three times in less than 2 hours. After the third time, I informed them that in the state of Georgia, after the first time of being told not to call my job, that it was considered harassment, and then they hung up on me.

I got home and did research on this company. I found out that this is not a ligit company and that I should not worry about it. It is nothing but a scam. What I want to know is what can be done about them? How can I get them to stop calling me at work?
