I was contacted by this company through an email stating that I have been approved for a $5000 loan (which I was looking for at the time). Due to poor credit, I could only get apporved for secured loans. I was told that their lender was willing to work with me.

I was originally told that I would need to put down $500 to secure the loan and then I would get the money wired into my bank account.

Well when I didn't get the funds I called them and they said that because of my bad credit history I would need to put down an additional $400. The next day I still didn't get my funds and I called the company up.

The whole time mind you I wsa western union wiring the deposits to secure the loan.

After I made the second deposit I was told that the lender backed out Finacial Alliance Corp would issue a refund check to me. Then I was told that another lender was interested but the money that I already put down they could not transfer because it was with another lender.

Basically I fell for it and shelled out another $1000, which is all I had thinking that I would get the $5000.00 plus my security would decrease the amount of what I would be paying back.

I was told each time that the funds would be in my account within 5 hours and I never saw a dime. This company stated that their lenders are in Canada, which is where the main location is.

I kept calling and kept getting hung up on or spoken to rudely. Finally the "manager" told me they would issue me a refund and my loan with them was terminated.

I'm still waiting and I don't think I will ever see that cash and now my credit is even worse off. I do have the original loan document I signed but that isn't getting me my money back.
