Financial Recover Services Telemarket phone tactics; Stated they were legal representation wanting to discuss a docket Tonawanda New York

I received a voice-mail message from an individual stating he was my "pro bono" legal counsel for docket #_______ that concerned Financial Recovery Services. This message was left after he repeatedly called my phone six times in a row. He called the next day in the same manner leaving the same message.

Two days later, I got a call from the same number but this time a different individual. He stated that he was affiliated with "FRC, inc" (A different way of saying Financial Recovery Services I'm certain.) This individual said that it was urgent I contact him about account # ______. The account number was the same as the docket number the previous guy mentioned.
Of course, I immediately checked my credit report to see who had been looking at my records. According to my report there has not been any views of it that I was not aware of. My credit score is high and does not show a single negative item.

I'm writing this report because getting those calls pretty much made me a nervous wreck. My husband told me not to call them back until I did some research and was armed with information about what it was about. After reading a number of statements made by other individuals who have dealt with them I don't believe that I will ever speak to them. There is nothing about the way this organization has conducted themselves, that makes me think they are legitimate in the way they are running their business.

Needless to say I will monitor my credit report and caller id closely for the next few months. I just can't believe they are allowed to call people and harass them in this manner.
