Financial Trust Processing Services - Capital Grants Association ripoff Victoria British Columbia

On December 12, 2007 i received a letter and along with that letter was a check $2978.25 and it was for processing fees. The letter said i was 3rd prize winner from a sweepstakes that i had entered a while back. I don't ever remember entering any sweepstakes and i thought this was to good to be true.

I took the check to Chase Bank in my hometown to see if this check was legit and they told me it was a scam and that i wasn't the first one to do this. The check had the Chase Bank emblem on it, so that is why i took it there. Thank God i never deposited this check nor did i cash it anywhere, because i would have been screwed and in big trouble!

I can't beleive people actually ave the nerve to do this to people and somehow get away with it. There has to be a way to stop them.
